Mondo Bizarro

2-4 cloves garlic
10 leaves fresh basil or 2 tbsp. dried
2 c. canned tomato sauce
10 oz. pkg. chopped spinach, defrosted and drained, or 1/2 lb. fresh
1/2 c. olive oil
1/2 c. freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese (or to taste)


Puree in food processor or blender all ingredients except cheese. Heat gently, adding cheese. Toss with spaghetti.
