Chilies Rellenos Puffs

1/4 cup butter -- at room temperature
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups Monterey jack cheese -- melted
1/2 cup roasted peeled green chiles -- seeded and diced*
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese


Combine butter and flour in a food processor, process until well mixed.

Add Monterey jack cheese, chili peppers and garlic powder, process until well mixed.

Form dough into 3/4 inch balls, roll in Parmesan cheese.

Place on a greased baking sheets and bake at 375F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

* or you can use 4 oz. canned diced green chili peppers, drained.
