Calzone

1 (1 lb.) loaf frozen bread dough
8 oz. provolone cheese, cubed
4 oz. monterey jack cheese, cubed
8 oz. salami, diced
1 tsp. oregano
4 tbsp. minced parsley
1 tbsp. olive oil
Cornmeal
Spaghetti sauce


Combine the cheeses, meats, oregano and parsley in a bowl. Toss together and set aside. Divide thawed dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece of dough on a floured surface into 8 inch rounds. Cover and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Divide cheese/meat mixture evenly among 4 rounds, filling 1/2 of each circle with filling. Moisten edges with water and fold dough over to form a half circle. Tuck edges under and crimp to form a tight seal. Place on a lightly greased and sprinkled with cornmeal cookie sheet. Brush tops of turnovers with olive oil. Bake in 450 degree oven for 15 minutes. Serve with spaghetti sauce and Parmesan cheese.
