Cheese-Chile Appetizer

1/2 c Butter or margarine
10 Eggs
1/2 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 ds Salt
7 oz Canned diced green chiles
2 c Cottage cheese
1 lb Jack cheese, shredded


Melt butter in 13- X 9-inch pan. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Add flour, baking powder and salt and blend. Add melted butter, green chiles, cottage cheese and Jack cheese and mix until just blended. Turn batter into pan and bake at 400F 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350F and bake 35 to 40 minutes longer. Cut into small squares and serve hot.
